My Shining Star

You were my Shining Star, bright and pretty Always filled with love, fun, and laughter too. You had a good life no one could pity. Last year you left this world it made me blue. On what a legacy you left behind, All six kids, and grandkids of twenty-eight. Everyone shows to be just as kind, Doing just like you, making the world great. The picture of you makes my heart aglow, Imagining you sitting on your cloud, Looking down at us and watching us grow. I hope that we are making you so proud. Oh, my Shining Star my love, very bright. Know you’re so kind, please light my way tonight.
